Intensive Moscow's Attacks Cut Electricity In Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have caused power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while the country's government has called for "real steps" from allies to exert influence on Russia.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 missiles struck energy facilities, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in the capital.

Five out of the nine people injured in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.
